The intent here is to demystify some of the concepts of four wheel driving and to
provide practical driving and vehicle recovery tips where possible.

Most resources I've encountered either sorely lack quality material or only part
with knowledge for money. This encourages drivers to damage the environment
and their vehicles through a lack of knowledge. Here then, is what I've learnt over time.
The Off-roading area on this site is divided into the three main sections below; a
reference and some calculators, accesible through the menu at the left.
